About Yahoogroup Forums / Chatsites
A yahoogroup is a totally separate thing from this website.
Please don't be worried about a yahoo chat group. A yahoogroup forum is simply an easy way of sending out information from the club to our members. The Club can put on dates, reminders, club closure information and latest information for all those registered on the yahoogroup to see.
Any member who joins can post emails on ANY subject (doesn't have to be about dog training!), you can post emails about anything you would like to see the club do, others can reply and 'discussions' can start. However, I suspect that as the club is reasonably small then this list will be very quiet, so you need not be worried about getting 100's of emails from it everyday!
Posting an email on the Yahoogroup is simple. Once you have joined the group you can just send off an email to the groups email address, your email will appear on the group and will automatically be sent to all the joined club members registered email addresses (that includes a copy coming back to you!). You can 'reply' to group emails in the same way as you would reply to private emails, just remember ALL members can read it. It goes without saying that rudeness will not be tolerated within this group.
Once a member there are facilities on the yahoogroups that allow you to load photos on for others to see. You can name a photo album and add in your dogs pictures. It all makes for a nicer and more interesting group.
There are 'files' on yahoogroups, and if anyone contributes training tips, they can be added into the files for anyone to look at in the future.
All members would be more than welcome in the group, please do not be offended that we ask for information when you join .. this is to safeguard that no 'spammers' or 'dodgy' emailers join the group.

Please provide the following upon application to join:
1. Your full name (first and surname please).
2. The name of the dog you are currently bringing to club.
3. The class you have joined (if you are not sure of the name of the class please state the time the class starts).
4. Your main internet supplier address (ie your main email address, not a hotmail or yahoo one).
Without this information the group moderator will be unable to approve your membership.
