All the trainers are unpaid volunteers who give up their valuable free time to help others train and enjoy their dogs.
All the training is with modern, motivational 'kind methods', using reward based training.
Any club member can become a trainer. If you think you could help others (starting as an assistant trainer with one of the established trainers), please offer your help to your class trainer, or approach the Head Trainer. We would love to have new helpers and trainers. The existing trainers often like a break, so it would be brilliant to be able to call on others, even if only temporary.

Hello, I am Valerie Payne : I have attended East Grinstead Club since 1993, and have been a trainer since 1998. I completed and passed the 'Aspirant' instructors course at the 'Pele k9' training school. I was the Head Trainer for 5 years but sadly had to give it up due to ill health. I still come every week and take the Puppy Courses and I also enjoy training my two German Shepherd dogs (in 2008 - Jenson who is 8 1/2 years old and Isla who is 9 1/2 months old).
